1. An intense altercation.
2. A battle involving many combatants.
3. A fight to the finish.

My definition:
A classical survival battle which would result in a single winner. A battle which is won through deceit, co-operation and disension. Not conversing and wondering what the hell you are in the battle for! Battle royale does not have any rules bounded by morality, humanity and political. There is only one rule... Only you must survive.
